U.S. FIFTH FLEET AREA OF OPERATION (Oct. 30, 2017) — The 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Logistics Combat Element backloads tactical vehicles onto a Landing Craft, Air Cushion to return to the USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) at the conclusion of Iron Magic 2018. Iron Magic 18 is an Amphibious Force, Task Force 51, 5th Marine Brigade annual bilateral engagement designed to enhance capabilities in critical mission sets inherent to the U.S. Navy-Marine Corps team operating within the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
