U.S. FIFTH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS —Marines with the Maritime Raid Force and United Arab Emirates armed forces service members conduct a rehearsal of concept drill prior conducting a practical application when they to attended a course provided by Desert Warfare Institute with the Emirati armed forces and local camel experts who provided instruction on camel packing, how to use a specific harness made to carry equipment aboard a camel, and camelback riding as part of Bedouin Falcon, and engagement conducted concurrently with Iron Magic 2018, Oct. 27, 2017. The 15th MEU, America Amphibious Ready Group and United Arab Emirates armed forces are conducting Iron Magic, an annual bilateral engagement, to enhance capabilities in critical mission sets inherent to the security and stability of the region.
