A buoy is hoisted out of Cleveland Harbor by the crew of Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay, home ported in Detroit, during the annual fall retrieve which replaces seasonal buoys with ice buoys, November 28, 2017. The seasonal buoys are more likely to become encrusted with ice which can weigh them down and cause their lights to malfunction. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Brian McCrum)
