A buoy is hoisted out of Cleveland Harbor onto the Coast Guard Cutter Bristol Bay's barge as part of the annual Fall Retrieve operation, which takes place across the Great Lakes and replaces seasonal buoys with ice buoys. The barge on the Bristol Bay is used during buoy retrieval through the fall and disconnected for ice-breaking in the winter. (U.S. Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Brian McCrum)
