Pilot Matt Sandbach, with the East Anglian Air Ambulance, answers questions and discusses the inner workings of an Airbus H145's power-plant engines with maintainers from the 352d Special Operations Maintenance Squadron, 352d Special Operations Wing. The H145 is capable of cruising at 158 mph to respond to regional emergencies. The 352 SOMXS visit was a part of the Honorary Commander Program, which provides a unique opportunity for local area community members to shadow 352 SOW leaders to encourage an exchange of ideas, share experiences and foster a supportive relationship with the community.
