Soldiers with Task Force 1-28, 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team and 703rd Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division secures a jump ball during the 2017 Marne Week basketball championship game Nov. 16, 2017 at Fort Stewart, Ga. Marne Week is a celebration for Soldiers to compete in team sports and recreational group activities while honoring the division’s service to the nation. This month marks the centennial anniversary of the Marne Division. Born out of World War I, the division has answered the nation’s call for 100 years.
