Radm. Paul F. Thomas of the 8th Coast Guard district and Dr. Austin A. Lane, President of Texas Southern University, signed a memorandum of agreement on Nov. 15, 2017 at TSU.

This memorandum will optimize opportunities between the Coast Guard and TSU regarding officer recruitment and will provide additional tuition-saving choices for TSU students and professors.
