Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment and 9th Engineer Battalion go head to head for 1st place in the softball competition Nov. 15 at Fort Stewart, Ga. during Marne Week. Marne Week is a celebration for Soldiers to compete in team sports and recreational group activities while honoring the division’s service to the nation. This month marks the centennial anniversary of the Marne Division. Born out of World War I, the division has answered the nation’s call for 100 years.
