A C-130H Hercules from the 302nd Airlift Wing, Colorado Springs Air Force Reserve, lands at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas in order to refuel and refill the Modular Airborne Firefighting System (MAFFS), April 28, 2011. MAFFS is capable of dispensing 3,000 gallons of water or fire retardant in under 5 seconds. Wildfires have spread across various parts of Texas and have burned more than 1.5 million acres since January.
