Flooding in southern Indiana has prompted a response from approximately 250 Indiana National Guard soldiers mobilized to state active duty in Gibson, Knox, Daviess and Posey counties, Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Soldiers are assisting in sandbagging operations, transporting displaced civilians to shelters, search and rescue missions, debris removal and damage assessment.
