Indiana Department of Transportation employees work with Indiana National Guardsmen to fill 100,000 sandbags in support of flooding in the area, at the Vincennes, Ind., INDOT facility, Monday, April 25, 2011. Approximately 250 soldiers were mobilized to state active duty in response to the flooding in Gibson, Knox, Daviess and Posey counties due to near record numbers of rainfall. Soldiers are assisting in sandbagging operations, transporting displaced civilians to shelters, search and rescue missions, debris removal and damage assessment.
