Arturo Amaro, the master driver for the 3rd Special Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division Resolute Support Sustainment Brigade, backs up a Oshkosh Defense mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicle All-Terrain Vehicle (MAT-V) before the off-road portion of the master driver training course Nov. 8 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. Amaro and a group from the 82nd Airborne Division conducted a two-week training course over a MAT-V, a MaxxPro II MRAP, and mine rollers to certify them to teach drivers in any of these three platforms.
