A U.S. Air Force C-17 Globemaster III pilot from the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron conducts combat airlift operations for U.S. and coalition forces in Syria in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, Nov. 4, 2017. The C-17 is capable of rapid strategic delivery of troops and all types of cargo to bases throughout the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility.
