U.S. Navy Boatswain Mate 2nd Class Jimmy Councel secures a rope around the bow of a SeaArk 2472 MV, also known as a punt boat, at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Nov. 7, 2017. U.S. Navy Sailors with Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron (H&HS) conducted facilities-response training to learn how to control potential oil or fuel spills in the waters surrounding the station. Sailors needed to hoist a boat into the water as part of their training to guide oil-trapping buoys through the water. Once the simulated oil was contained, a skimmer boat would filter chemicals from the water and clean it. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Lance Cpl. Gabriela Garcia-Herrera)
