POUGHKEEPSIE, NY – Lt. Cmdr. Joshua Buck, a participant at the Hudson River Ports and Waterways Safety Assessment (PAWSA) Workshop offers expertise during discussion of the risk mitigation factors at the Workshop, Nov. 8, 2017. More than 40 participants and 12 observers took part in discussions during the two-day Workshop about the Hudson River identifying various risks on the waterway and risk mitigation factors. The PAWSA is a long-standing process that will help improve the Coast Guard’s and connected stakeholders’ understanding of the safety and environmental risks on the Hudson River.
