Wayne Barini, once a homeless Army Veteran, received a trim from Kenneth Schuler School of Cosmetology student, Ashley Smith. Barini states that programs such as the one offered at Dorn VAMC ‘work if you work it.’ Smith adds that providing haircuts was just a small way she could contribute and give back, as she has a lot of military Veterans in her family.
