Cpl. Charles U. Alaocha participates in an amphibious assault during Blue Chromite 18 aboard Camp Schwab, Okinawa, Japan, Nov 3, 2017. Blue Chromite is a U.S.-only exercise which strengthens the Navy-Marine Corps expeditionary, amphibious rapid-response capabilities based in Okinawa and the greater Indo-Asia-Pacific region. Alaocha, a Houston, Texas native, is a motor transport operator assigned to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment.
