PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii (Nov. 3, 2017)— U.S. Pacific Command (USPACOM) Commander, Adm. Harry Harris observes First Lady Melania Trump and President Donald J. Trump as they offer flowers in honor of fallen service members at the USS Arizona Memorial. The President is in Hawaii to receive a briefing from USPACOM prior to traveling to Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Vietnam and the Philippines from November 3-14. During the trip the President will underscore his commitment to longstanding U.S. alliances and partnerships, and reaffirm U.S. leadership in promoting a free and open Indo-Asia-Pacific region. The president’s engagements will strengthen the international resolve to confront the North Korean threat and ensure the complete, verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
