    U.S. Air Force Maj. Keith Chikasawa, 115th Airlift Squadron, California Air National Guard, fills out flight data reports aboard a C-130J Hercules equipped with the Modular Airborne Firefighting System while returning to Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, to refill the aircraft with fire retardant during a mission to fight wildfires raging across the state, April 19. MAFFS is capable of dispensing 3,000 gallons of water or fire retardant in under 5 seconds. The wildfires have spread across various parts of Texas and have burned more than 1,000 square miles of land.
