A native of Dallas, Spc. Brice Sandefur keeps a lookout while Pfc. Joshua Ruth, a native of Elizabethtown, Ky., marks a gate to indicate the house has been searched during the joint operation known as "Arrowhead Strike 9" in Baghdad's Ghazaliyah neighborhood March 21. Both Sandefur and Ruth are infantrymen with Company C, 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division and have been in country for about 10months.
