Soldiers of the Caisson Platoon, 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and Klinger, participate in the 59th annual Washington International Horse Show (WIHS) Kid’s Day, in Washington D.C., Oct. 28, 2017. Klinger, a horse in the Caisson Platoon, is an ambassador for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) and helps young children deal with the grief of losing a loved one who served in the military. Klinger has also been inducted into the Horse Stars Hall of Fame.
