Command Sgt. Maj. Richard Meffert of Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force - Afghanistan participates in the first-ever Boston Marathon satellite in Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan, April 16. The 26.2-mile run was the third marathon for Meffert, whose home unit is 3rd Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group out of Fort Bragg, N.C.
