Air Force Maj. Shannon O’Keefe conducts a flouride treatment on a student at an elementary school here. O’Keefe, along with 26 other dentists and dental technicians, spent two weeks in El Salvador this month providing dental assistance to more than 2,600 people as part of Beyond the Horizon 2011, a 4-month-long, joint service training exercise to bring construction, medical and dental assistance to the people of El Salvador.
