56 personnel from the 78th Air Base Wing participated in the annual Foreign Object Debris (FOD) Walk on the base’s airfield Oct. 24. Over 150 Airmen on from across Robins Air Force Base helped ensure the field was clear of FOD, which is a hazard that could potentially be sucked into an aircraft engine, that could possibly damage the aircraft and its engines.
