    U.S. Marine Gunnery Sgt. Joshua A. Espedal, the electronics maintenance chief with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Southern Command, crosses the finish line of the Marine Corps Marathon at Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, Oct. 22, 2017. The race was held in conjunction with the 42nd annual Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C., and was organized by Marines and sailors with SPMAGTF-SC with support from the Joint Task Force - Bravo Medical Element, and the Morale, Welfare and Recreation center on base. The Marines and sailors of SPMAGTF-SC are deployed to Central America to conduct security cooperation training and engineering projects with their counterparts in several Central American and Caribbean nations.
