Soldiers assigned to the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), participate in medical and weapon proficiency training for the Expert Infantryman Badge (EIB) on Fort A.P. Hill, Va., Oct, 23, 2017. First aid and weapon proficiency are just two of a number of skills infantryman must perfect in order to earn their Expert Infantryman Badge. Other skills include day and night land navigation, patrol lane tasks, moving under direct fire, and a 12-mile foot march.
