Jack Young helped another participant light their candle in order to honor the fallen service members of Beirut and Grenada at Lejeune Memorial Gardens, Oct. 23, 2017. Participants helped pass the flame from candle to candle until everyone’s was lit prior to beginning the reading of the names. Beirut veterans, family, next of kin, friends and service members attended the candlelight vigil to honor those they knew and to gather with others who felt the loss.
