171021-N-PM250-1138 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 21, 2017) Mne. Tomos Dilliway, a marine assigned to 45 Commando Royal Marines, left, helps Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Brandon Fisher, the loadmaster of landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 54 attached to Assault Craft Unit 4, load baggage into a storage compartment on LCAC 54. LCAC 54 and 45 Commando Royal Marines are on board the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44) in support of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (#BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
