171021-N-PM250-1104 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 21, 2017) Warrant Officer Class 2 Andy Grange, a marine assigned to 45 Commando Royal Marines, boards landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 54, attached to Assault Craft Unit 4. LCAC 54 and 45 Commando Royal Marines are on board the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44) in support of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (#BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
