171021-N-PM250-0779 ATLANTIC OCEAN (Oct. 21, 2017) Landing craft air cushion (LCAC) 34, attached to Assault Craft Unit 4, awaits return to the amphibious dock landing ship USS Gunston Hall (LSD-44). LCAC 34 is on board Gunston Hall in preparation of exercise Bold Alligator 2017 (#BA17). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
