Miami native, Army Staff Sgt. Elio Martinez, a fuel tester with the 505th Quartermasters Brigade out of Okinawa, Japan, secures fuel barrels onto a truck prior to its departure from the fuel depot near Sendai Airport, Japan, on April 8. Martinez and his soldiers deliver the fuel to various points across north eastern Japan as part of Operation Tomodachi. The Japanese use the fuel to power generators, fuel vehicles and provide warmth for the tsunami victims.
