VICTORIA, Texas – (Oct. 18. 2017) Rear Adm. Pete Garvin, commander, Navy Recruiting Command, speaks with Durant, Okla., native Damage Controlman 1st Class Caleb Peterson and Fire Controlman 1st Class Michael Vela assigned to Navy Recruiting Station Victoria during the admiral’s initial visit to Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio. The purpose of the visit was to check on the Sailors affected by Hurricane Harvey and talk to recruiters regarding the current and future state of Navy Recruiting.
