171014-N-TR141-0841 PHILIPPINE SEA (Oct. 14, 2017) Boatswain’s Mate 3rd Class Lazaro Martinez, from Houston, Texas, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Chafee (DDG 90), releases the pelican hook during a replenishment-at-sea with USNS Charles Drew (T-AKE 10). Chafee is part of the U.S. 3rd Fleet and U.S. Naval Surface Forces, currently deployed to the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility on a routine scheduled deployment.
