Salvadoran soldiers from the 5th Infantry Brigade use the two-man carry to pick up Pvt. Stephanie Gress during a combat first aid class given by the 996th Area Support Medical Company. Soldiers of the 996th are supporting Guard units from around the country, including Air Force and Navy seabee units, for Operation Beyond the Horizon 2011. The 4-month-long civic assistance and training exercise is helping build local Salvadoran Infrastructure, give U.S. soldiers valuable training and strengthen U.S.-Salvadoran relations.
