Three soldiers assigned to 1st Battalion, 36th Infantry Regiment, 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team were honored on the field during the UTEP Homecoming game Oct 7. Staff Sgt. David Rogers, Spc. Jonathan Lim and Spc. Kent Gonzagowski recently returned from Afghanistan after being wounded in combat. All three Soldiers were awarded the Purple Heart for their sacrifice and selfless service.
