Marines and soldiers with Joint Support Forces Japan hand out backpacks to students at the school here April 1. Girl Scouts from U.S. Army Japan base, Camp Zama, collected over 300 backpacks and filled them with toys and food for the students affected by the tsunami and earthquake. The school was the site of a bilateral cleanup that focused on preparing the school to reopen in the coming months.
