U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Cody Brown, a chemical biological radiological nuclear (CBRN) defense specialist with Marine Aircraft Group (MAG) 12, gives a class on proper Mission-Oriented Protective Posture gear use to U.S. Marines with Marine All-Weather Fighter Attack Squadron (VMFA) 242 during an aircraft decontamination exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Oct. 13, 2017. CBRN instructed and supervised reconnaissance, surveillance and decontamination trained personnel on the exercise as part of CBRN’s defense mission performance standards training. The purpose of the training was to keep Marines operationally ready to perform mission essential-tasks in a CBRN environment. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Cpl. Carlos Jimenez)
