U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF OPERATIONS (Oct. 13, 2017) – A Marine with Company A., 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Ground Combat Element,exits from the gunner torrent during vehicle rollover egress training. The 15th MEU and America Amphibious Ready Group’s forward deployed nature ensures that when called upon, they are postured and prepared to respond to any crisis in the region whether at sea, from the sea or ashore.
