SEBRING, Fla. -- Contractors pack up materials and gear after installing fiber-reinforced plastic sheeting on a Hurricane Irma-damaged roof in Sebring, Florida Oct. 1, 2017. The contractors were hired by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for Operation Blue Roof. The program sends out licensed contractors to install blue plastic sheeting on eligible roofs until residents can arrange permanent repairs. As of Oct. 2, 2017, the Corps has installed more than 1300 “blue roofs” across 29 counties in Florida. (U.S. Army photo/Kerry Solan)
