TAMPA, Fla. -- Charlie Thomason, the mission manager for Operation Blue Roof, takes a call at the Tampa Recovery Field Sept. 29, 2017. In disaster areas, Operation Blue Roof is a program for homeowners who have damage to their roofs. The program sends licensed contractors out to homes to cover the damage with fiber-reinforced plastic sheeting until residents can arrange repairs. As mission manager, Thomason was in charge of more than 280 Corps employees and 70,000 rolls of blue plastic sheeting. (U.S. Army photo/Kerry Solan)
