Staff Sgt. Chad R. Long, assigned to the 3d U.S. Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard), receives the Army Commendation Medal in commemoration of his 16 months of dedication to The Old Guard on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, Va., Oct. 10, 2017. Staff Sgt. Long was awarded the medal because of the loyalty and dedication he showed for the unit while fulfilling his duties as a Regimental S2 Intelligence Sergeant.
