The “man down” MTT drill was conducted to access the crew’s response to simulated medical scenarios and provide proper training on how to respond and assist injured crew members. Pearl Harbor is part of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and, with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
