Sgt. Michael Villasenor, a native of Las Cruces, N.M., from the 1st Armored Division Combat Aviation Brigade reconnoitered from a UH-60M Blackhawk helicopter for obstructed roadways and isolated villages in need of supplies in Puerto Rico due to Hurricane Maria, on October 7, 2017, and dropped food, water and baby supplies to three such villages, even dropping from the air when unable to land.
The Combat Aviation Brigade is prepared to continue delivering supplies in support of federal and local agencies for as long as needed.
