Spc. Joshua A. Flately, a horizontal construction engineer with the 1015th Quartermaster Company, zeroes his rifle before qualifying on the range at the 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command’s Best Warrior Competition. The competition between soldiers consisted of an Army Physical Fitness Test, a board appearance where soldiers were evaluated based on the proper wear of their uniforms and on a series of questions on army history and regulations, marksmanship, a ruck march, day and night land navigation, warrior tasks and battle drills.
