Col. Craig Q. Timberlake, commander of 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade (Forward), III Marine Expeditionary Force, (left), conducts a site survey of the III MEF Aviation Command Element here, March 27. Lt. Col. Damien Marsh (right), commanding officer of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 265 shows Timberlake the flight line and temporary hangar the squadron is occupying during Operation Tomodachi. HMM-265 was the first Marine Corps helicopter squadron to assist in support of Operation Tomodachi.
