Tipton the Commanding Officer of the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, explains to the Marines and Sailors the importance of adjusting your equipment to ensure they do not get injured during the conditioning hike on Camp Pendleton, California. The purpose of the conditioning hike is to target key areas, which are involved with propelling the body forward while also improving cardiovascular fitness, endurance, flexibility, strength and most importantly unit cohesion.
