PACIFIC OCEAN – Cpl. John Bowen, an artilleryman with C. Battery, 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit’s Battalion Landing Team assembles a M249 squad automatic weapon during a gunner course held aboard USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), Aug. 16, 2017. The gunner course is designed to teach Marines how to operate and repair malfunctions on weapons.
