    The 179th Airlift Wing, Ohio Air National Guard responds to Hurricane Maria relief efforts Sept. 29, 2017. The aircraft took off from Mansfield, Ohio this today to provide airlift support relief efforts in the Virgin Islands. The 179th AW crew picked up Airmen from the 269th Combat Communications Squadron (CBCS), based out of Springfield, Ohio that are replacing a team already in the Virgin Islands. The 179th AW is always ready to respond with a team of trusted Airmen to provide the tactical airlift support to get people and assets where they need to go. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by 1st Lt.
