Maj. Gen. Daniel Allyn, commanding general of 1st Cavalry Division, speaks to troops assigned to 2nd Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Cav. Div., at Joint Security Station India, Feb. 23. While visiting U.S. soldiers at the remote installation in northern Iraq, Allyn presented the battalion a Valorous Unit Award for displaying extraordianary heroism during Operation Iraqi Freedom from December 2006 to September 2007.
