Airman 1st Class Anthony Battaglino, an explosive ordinance disposal technician with the 775th Civil Engineering Squadron, operates a robot used in EOD missions during training at Hill Air Force Base, Utah on March 22. To maintain a deployment ready status, EOD technicians must keep all five-level skills up to par, which includes using the robots, performing in the bomb suit, accomplishing demolitions, and being proficient on all the tools.
